Over the past two days we have discussed different topics about how we arrived at this point in our lives. We talked about the dots and experiences that have created the person you are today; and we talked about being grateful for who we are and appreciating the life that we currently live. But there’s one more very important step as you being the process of gaining clarity, and that’s to identify your dreams and where you want to go!
Today’s theme and goal is to Dream Big and to start thinking deeply about what it is that drives you, what do you love to do, and who do you want to become.
- What do you want to create in your life?
- What’s the big picture of who you want to become?
- What’s the impact you want to make on the world?
- How do you want to feel every day?
- How do you want to show up in the world?
There is a term called Ikagi, which is a Japanese concept that means “reason for being.”

Ikagi is the intersection of what you love to do, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. It’s my belief that if we can all help each other find our own Ikagi’s, our world and the world around us will transform. And we will all create our most fulfilled lives. But to do that, we need clarity.
That’s why you are here so I certainly hope these exercises over the past 3 days are helping you start the process to gain some of that clarity!
Quite often people approach their life with a Have - Do - Be mentality.
They believe that they must have the things they want in order to do the things they want or have to do, to be happy and fulfilled. But this is actually the reverse of what creates lasting fulfillment and our most incredible lives. We should approach life from a Be - Do - Have mentality. We should show up each day being the person we want to be, so that we do the things we need to do, so eventually we can have the things that we want to have. It’s a slight shift in thinking, but it is a super important one. As an example, do you want to be an entrepreneur?
Well, you should start being an entrepreneur today; you should have the mentality that you are an entrepreneur. That way you will be doing the things that entrepreneurs do every day and will then start to have the things that entrepreneurs have. It goes the same with relationships. Do you want an incredible relationship, whether it is romantic or just an amazing friendship? Well, then today you should start being the person that has an incredible relationship.
You should show up each day acting like a person that has an incredible relationship. Having an incredible relationship requires that you BE an incredible person to have a relationship with, you need to BE the person they wish they had in their lives When we start to approach life from a Be - Do - Have mentality, magic starts to happen and we start to attract the right things in our life. And life actually becomes so much easier.
ASSIGNMENT 3
Before you start today’s assignment, please watch this Yes Theory video for inspiration.
This video describes what this community is all about and how you can use the knowledge from this workshop to move forward to turn your biggest dream into reality. Yes Theory - Dream Big
1) Identify 5 people in the world that are not in your immediate circle that you look up to for inspiration. Identify who they are, follow them on social media if they have it, and write down what are the qualities you appreciate about them. As an example, a few of mine would be Gary V, Brittany Krystle, Tony Robbins, Lewis Howes, Brené Brown, and the “Yes Theory” guys.
2) What brands do you love? What do you love about them? Write down 5 brands and how you could take inspiration from what they are doing into what you want to build for your life.
3) What inspires you? What gives you energy to get up in the morning and be excited for the day ahead?
4) What’s your current biggest dream? Write it down here! I suggest you really think about this and write down your biggest dream as the life you want to create and what you want to give to the world.
5) Write your last post on social media today about this workshop. What takeaways did you have? How can you use this knowledge you now have written down as a template to get started building the next phase of your life? DAY 3 RESOURCES Yes Theory - Dream Big “Dream Big” - Axwell
