Here’s What Happens Next 🚀
📥 Step 1: Download Your Notion Website Templates
Click on this link to access the Notion template, this template is going to be the foundation for your website and the backend of your Content Management System (CMS) for your website.
This means that you will go to this notion template to make changes to your website, to create new blog posts, and to build new products, and to update your sales pages.
You’ll then click the “Duplicate” button in the top right of Notion to get started. It might look like two little pieces of paper if you don’t see the word “duplicate”. Once you click duplicate, it’s going to clone the entire template into your notion workspace. This will now be your private copy of the template.
Website In a Weekend [CMS Template]This template is going to be the digital headquarters for your website. Once we get everything setup, you’ll be updating all the content on your website with Notion.
You won’t have to login to any complicated software, you can delegate teammates to update it, and you can manage your website with ease even from your mobile phone.
We’ll personalize them together, but go ahead and duplicate your workspace now.
Once you duplicate your workspace, the page it created for you is the “root” of your website, meaning it’s the top level of the website and everything else lives beneath it.
You’ll notice that at the top of the template, the other pages are listed there. Super is going to hide those pages, so don’t worry about keeping them in that location for now.
🛠️ Step 2: Set Up Your Notion Site Settings
Before we connect Super.so, let’s make sure your Notion workspace is properly configured to become a clean, professional website.
Here’s what to do:
- Open your duplicated Notion template.
- In the top-right corner, click the ”•••” (three dots) menu.
- Select “Settings” → “Sites”.
- Click on the “Domain” field and edit the default domain.
- For example, change something like notion.site/my-super-page-abc123 to notion.site/yourbrandname.
🧠 Tip: Once this is done, click “Share” in the top-right corner and make sure “Share to web” is enabled so Super.so can access it in the next step.
🔗 Step 3: Set Up Your Super.so Account
Head over to Super.so and create your account.
Super is the engine that turns your Notion page into a real website with a clean, fast frontend and custom domain support.
Once you’re logged in, click “New Site” and select Notion as the source.
Go back to the Notion template page that we created, that we need to make that page public so Super can see it.
Click “Share” in the top right and toggle on “Share to web”.
Now grab the link from Notion and paste it into your super website.
🔄 Step 4: Link Super to Your Notion Template
Paste the public URL of your Notion homepage into the Super dashboard when prompted.
Super will now sync with your Notion content and generate a live preview of your website.
📌 You can update your site at any time—just edit your Notion page and Super will reflect the changes live.
🎨 Step 5: Choose Your Theme + Customize the Design
Now it’s time to choose a style.
Inside Super:
- Navigate to the Design tab
- Pick a starter theme that fits your brand vibe (minimal, bold, colorful, etc.)
- Customize fonts, colors, and navigation settings
💡 Keep it simple at first. You can always tweak the design later once your core content is live.
🏡 Step 6: Edit Your Homepage
Go back to your Notion template and open the Home page.
Start personalizing the sections:
- Update your hero message and image
- Add your services or product highlights
- Include call-to-action buttons for leads or purchases
🎯 This is the first thing people will see—make it clear who you help, why you do what you do and what you offer.
Now refresh the page and you should see the content live in Super that you changed in Notion.
🌐 Step 7: Connect Your Custom Domain
Next, in Super, go to the Domains tab and connect your own URL (like yourname.com).
You’ll need to:
- Buy a domain from a provider like GoDaddy or Namecheap (if you haven’t already)
- Update your DNS settings to point to Super’s servers (they’ll give you step-by-step instructions)
🔒 Once your domain is live, you’ll also get a free SSL certificate (HTTPS) automatically.
It may take a few hours to connect your domain but once it’s live, you’ll be able to navigate to your domain to view your Notion backed website.
🙋♂️ Step 8: Write Your About Page
This is where people connect with you.
Open the About page in the Notion template and:
- Share your story
- Include a photo
- Highlight your values and mission
- Link to your social media or newsletter
🫶 Don’t overthink it—authenticity matters more than perfection.
📝 Step 9: Set Up Your Blog Page
Inside your Notion template, open the Blog page.
You’ll see a linked database where you can:
- Add new blog posts
- Set titles, publish dates, and categories
- Attach cover images and tags
Each blog post is its own Notion page. Easy to write, easy to manage.
✍️ Try writing your first post now, even if it’s short—just to test the flow.
💼 Step 10: Add a Services Page with Clear Offers
Open the “Services” page in your Notion site and define 1–3 core offers. For each one, include:
- What it is
- Who it’s for
- What’s included
- The investment (price or starting price)
- A call to action (e.g., “Book a Call” or “Buy Now”)
✍️ Use toggle blocks or callout blocks to keep things visually clean and skimmable.
With these steps, you should now have a fully functional website that you can change easily with Notion.
